Retail Water Rates
Jordan Valley Water uses a tiered water rate system, meaning the rate you pay is determined by the amount of water you use. As water use increases, so does the cost per thousand gallons.
Starting July 1, 2026 single-family residential properties will have a different rate structure than all other properties (commercial properties, multi-family homes, etc.). All single-family residential will have the same tier thresholds regardless of meter size. A high-volume surcharge will be added to customers who exceed Tier 2 in off peak months (October-May), and for exceeding Tier 3 year round.

Tier Allocation Example
If you have a .75" meter, you will pay
$1.53 per one thousand gallons for the first 9,000 gallons of water used,
$3.06 per one thousand gallons for additional water used, up to 15,000 gallons. and
$4.59 per one thousand gallons for additional water used, up to 41,000 gallons. Any water used over 42,000 gallons will be charged at a rate of
$6.12 per one thousand gallons.

| Legal Expenses: | Customer shall reimburse the District for all expenses, court costs and attorneys’ fees incurred by the District in collecting that customer’s unpaid balance. |
